Advancement Staff E-Learning Module

This self-paced orientation module is part of the larger UVA Introduction to Advancement Program. The module helps new hires learn key vocabulary, understand stages in the donor cycle, and uncover where their roles fit within UVA’s larger advancement efforts. Other modules address use of the staff intranet, organizational structure, and collaborative opportunities. These are designed to be used on their own or coupled with in-person orientation and onboarding efforts.

Campaign Readiness

This presentation was designed to show UVA executives how the Advancement Communications team prepared to launch UVA’s $5B fundraising campaign. I collaborated with a designer and web developer on this project, providing creative direction, messaging, text, and design direction. In addition to showcasing my presentation design approach, this piece also provides a look at the work accomplished by our team when I was leading content strategy. Originally designed to be delivered in-person along with this support document, I’m providing a silent recording here to highlight the strength of the concept, design, and animations.

Diversity & Inclusion Committee Launch

As the chair of UVA’s University Advancement Diversity & Inclusion Committee, I designed and provided a number of presentations on this topic to a variety of audiences. This presentation was provided to staff as an update on the committee's work and future plans.
